Slider windows are a type of horizontally set window, where the active sash will slide left or right (depending on the configuration – XO or OX) in order to open the window.

Single slider windows, as you might expect, feature a single slidable sash, whereas the other ‘inactive’ sash will be fixed in position. These windows feature two panes of glass divided by the central, vertically situated sash, called the meeting rail.
